Position: Technical Mentor (DSA – Java) Location: Chennai, Vellore Duration: Full-time Department: Training & Development

Job Summary We are looking for a skilled and enthusiastic Technical Mentor with strong knowledge of Data Structures and Algorithms (DSA) using Java. The ideal candidate should be able to guide students in programming, coding practice, problem-solving techniques, and technical interview preparation, while explaining complex concepts in a simple and practical manner.

Key Responsibilities - Deliver training sessions on Data Structures and Algorithms using Java, including arrays, strings, linked lists, stacks, queues, trees, graphs, hashing, sorting, and searching. - Teach core Java concepts, including object-oriented programming, collections, exception handling, and debugging. - Explain time and space complexity and guide students to develop efficient solutions. - Conduct classroom sessions, hands-on coding practice, live demonstrations, and problem-solving activities. - Prepare lesson plans, coding exercises, assignments, assessments, and mock technical interview questions. - Guide students in solving coding problems and encourage structured, independent problem-solving. - Evaluate student progress through coding tests, assignments, and regular feedback. - Identify learning gaps and provide individual or group mentoring to improve coding skills. - Support students in preparing for technical interviews and placement assessments. - Maintain attendance, performance records, and training progress reports. - Keep training materials updated in line with programming practices and student learning needs.

Required Skills - Strong knowledge of Java programming and object-oriented programming concepts. - Good understanding of data structures, algorithms, and problem-solving techniques. - Ability to analyse time and space complexity and explain efficient solutions. - Strong logical reasoning, analytical thinking, and debugging skills. - Excellent verbal communication, presentation, and mentoring skills. - Ability to explain technical concepts in simple, student-friendly language. - Confidence in conducting classroom, lab-based, and interactive coding sessions. - Good classroom-management and learner-engagement skills.

Preferred Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical knowledge. - Experience in Java programming, DSA mentoring, technical training, or coding interview preparation is an advantage. - Freshers with strong Java and DSA fundamentals and good communication skills may also be considered.
